Why would anyone see this as protectionist: http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/tech/ites/us-bill-on-outsourcing-cause-of-concern-india/articleshow/11205753.cms

Federal government of US shouldn’t have to help companies that outsource! The bill is about denying eligibility for grants and guaranteed loans from “federal government”, this doesn’t look bad for free trade. And we at India just can’t talk about free trade, Indian trade laws are full of protectionism. I think protectionism is needed in the current political scenario – US government need to worry about unemployment as much as we need to worry about future of our home-grown industry and the extent of unemployment in the absence of it.
(Free trade is an excellent concept – meritocratic, but we are not ready for it!)

Has Digvijay Singh (Congress) lost his mind? Digvijay Singh recently compared RSS to the Nazis!
Israeli embassy issued an statement that you can’t compare RSS with Nazis. Couldn’t Congress just quit playing the sectarian politics now?

This is rather disgusting. Let’s revisit the glorious past of Congress. If it was for Congress, even today, most of Indians would be singing “long live the queen (of the Great Britain)”. Congress has been like those kingdoms of India who accepted slavery against protecting their subjects and flourished as a result of it and still are flourishing. The British Indian army killed a hell lot of Indians – Indians who killed Indians became the army of Independent India. The idea of total independence wasn’t brought in by Congress, it came from the kinds of Subhash Chandra Bose, Bhagat Singh and RSS. The great Nehru (I can never celebrate Children’s day on 14th Nov, I don’t want my children to be slaves) was the primary reason for partition of India and congress was the primary reason for making it messier than it already was. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel must have infiltrated Congress to deliver what he could against all the stupid policies of ageing Mahatma Gandhi ji and the greediest Indian leader Nehru.

Congress hasn’t been winning elections for development, except in Delhi where Sheila Dikshit changed the face of Indian capital in a very short span of time. RSS graduates in form of BJP have done what Congress could have done a long long time ago with all the power they had.

When it comes to religion I am an atheist, but I do believe in RSS’ pro-India policies and activities, Hinduism as religion rarely gets a mention in their proceedings. I joined RSS as a volunteer during my undergraduate studies, had to discontinue the affiliation after I heard the RSS leaders in their district level meeting (well, leaders with political ambitions of a different kind). RSS at ground level is excellent, they don’t ask your religion, they help you just because you are another Indian and because they are in the position to help you.

India is doing well, Manmohan Singh is a good leader, Sonia Gandhi has done the right things. But, all their good work certainly hasn’t given Digvijay Singh the rights to pass such statements about RSS.
